Safety Induction & Competency Unit (SICU) Refresher
Update your DMaF safe work practice knowledge and skills
What is the SICU Refresher?
This is a video-based refresher unit aimed at updating your knowledge and skills required for safe and effective work practice in the DMaF Lab.
All DMaF Lab Competency cards expire three years from the SICU test date. If your card has expired, you must update your knowledge before accessing the workshops. The video is designed to reaffirm your understanding of safe workshop procedures and current DMaF operations.
How to sign up.
To take the SICU Refresher you must enrol in the Safety Induction and Competency Unit Refresher. If the unit is not on your Canvas dashboard, please contact us at adp.sicu@sydney.edu.au.
Completion.
To successfully complete this unit, you must watch the refresher video and correctly answer the questions in the online quiz. Once complete, please see DMaF staff to update your DMaF Lab Competency Card, which must be worn at all times when accessing the fabrication labs.
