Ceramic 3D printing is a technique that enables the creation of three-dimensional objects using clay as a printing medium. Layers of clay are deposited to build a 3D object.
The process for booking a ceramic 3D printing session involves two steps: first, a ceramic printing consultation, followed by a ceramic printing session.
Ceramic printing Consultation:
For each new ceramic 3D printing project, you must first book a ceramic printing consultation.
During this consultation, you will discuss your project with a DMaF technician to assess its viability with the ceramic 3D printing process.
This is also where you will purchase and prepare the clay for printing.
Please bring a CAD design or detailed drawing to your consultation session.
Ceramic Printing Session:
Book a ceramic printing session after attending a consultation and finalising your design.
Printing sessions are scheduled in 3-hour time slots and include setup, cleaning, and pack-down of the machine.
