Customisable Box Generator for Laser Cutting
MakerCase allows you to quickly design a box or polygon for laser cutting. Our students love using it to create shapes for casting. The removable walls make it easy to extract the cast material.
Users enter box dimensions and material thickness, and MakerCase generates a 3D model that can be rotated. It supports flat or interlocking edges (finger joints) and both open and closed boxes.
Once the design is ready, MakerCase converts it into an SVG or DXF file for cutting. It also adjusts for kerf (laser beam width) and can add dogbone fillets for CNC routing.
